A very warm welcome awaits you at the Glencoe Outdoor Centre, set amongst the spectacular loch and mountain scenery of Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Surrounded by fabulous terrain for adventure activities, with most available “on the doorstep”, we offer a broad range of outdoor pursuits, on both land and water.
Established for 20 years this summer, with an experienced and skilled management team, we consider safety as paramount. All activities are carefully risk-assessed and are delivered in accordance with our operating procedures by instructors who are properly experienced and qualified for the relevant discipline. As holders of a licence issued by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority, we are
inspected annually
Most of our courses for schools, churches, youth and family groups are based in our converted small country house, offering comfortable accommodation with a Christian family atmosphere, home cooked meals, hot showers, a cosy lounge and roaring log fire. It is a perfect base for retreats and Alpha and church away weekends.
For those who prefer more luxurious accommodation, for example for participants attending management and leadership courses, we can arrange rooms at local hotels and offer some courses on a non-residential basis.
